Ashtanga Yoga 4 week Foundations Course with Stacey Craven
Starting Tuesday 4th September 2018
This 4 week course in Ashtanga Yoga is designed for complete beginners, as well as those with some experience, who wish to properly ground themselves in the basics of this practice, and for those from other yoga traditions with an interest in learning this method.
The course runs for 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings 6pm - 7pm
— Opening chant, Sun Salutations A & B, Standing asanas.
— Seated asanas from the first half of Primary series.
— Breathing (pranayama) and the flowing sequence between postures (Vinyasa).
— Backbends and finishing asanas.
— Beginning a self practice - giving you an understanding of the Mysore style practice.
Note: most benefit gained from attending all 4 sessions. No refund for missed sessions.
